The Pocket Torch uses a disposable lighter at its core. Insert your disposable lighter into the Pocket Torch or use the provided refillable lighter (shipped empty) and produce a flame that reaches temperatures up to 1300°C (approx. 2,300 °F) making it a powerful, wind-resistant blow-torch!  In addition, this increases your disposable lighter's lifespan by 60%.

CAUTION: The torch may not ignite under colder temperatures or high altitudes above 5,000 ft. / 1,500m.  However it does have a traditional lighter inside that you can remove and use directly.
